Guillotine Season 4
Week 17/18 Recap
As for the losers, we must say goodbye to Tom E. Scott and Tim Brady as they are the final team to be chopped. They fought a good fight but fell a few (exact number not figured out but they lost) points short in the end. BUT, they still made a $28 profit so there’s that! BUT, they will have an extra challenge to start the season next year as their punishment for finishing 2nd so repeating this year’s performance will be difficult. But if they don’t like that they just should have won the title!
Week 16 Recap
If he hadn’t picked up Mahomes, or just picked him up as a blocker and started Burrow instead he’s be in the finals! But he didn’t, so he’s chopped. Goodbye Tony Gennaro…
Week 15 Recap
He rode Mixon and Chubb all the way to the final four, cruising through the early part of the season on their backs, and in week 15 he decided to make a choice between the two and he chose wrong. Had he flipped it he’d have survived by .12 pts! But, it wasn’t meant to be so Jason is the next to head to the chopping block…
Gennaro gets the very important $5 faab bonus.
Jason’s players for you to bid on:
- QBs –Chiefs
- RBs – Alvin Kamara, Joe Mixon, Rhamondre Stevenson, Nick Chubb
- WRs – Keenan Allen, DeAndre Hopkins, Garrett Wilson, Brandon Aiyuk, Chris Olive, Christian Watson
- TEs –
- DEF – Chiefs
Week 14 Recap
Rob got Higginsed. He wasn’t on the injury report but apparently got hurt in pregame warmups and by then it was too late for Rob to do anything about it so here we are, a former champion now our next choppee…
No high score hit last week so it goes to $20. If it’s not hit this week that money will go to 2nd place since the high score bonus ends this week.
Paul gets the $5 faab bonus.
Rob’s players for you to bid on:
- QBs – Seahawks, Bears
- RBs –Austin Ekeler, Ezekiel Elliot, Tony Pollard, Isiah Pacheco, Jeffrey Wilson
- WRs – Davante Adams, Marquise Brown, Tee Higgins, Terry McLaurin
- TEs –
- DEF – Cowboys
Week 13 Recap
He had a 40+ plus player and a 30+ player and he still lost. And he actually would have survived had it not been for a holding call with under 20 second left to go. Or course had he trusted neither his gut nor everyone in fantasy he might have started Pacheco over Henry. Or anyone over Pittman. Or maybe just one more catch by Kelce? Point is, it was a very close loss but we now must say goodbye to the Penises and Jon Hamm who are getting chopped this week…
Jason get the $5 bonus this week.
Gennaro wins the high score!
Hamm’s players for you to bid on:
- QBs – Eagles, Bengals
- RBs –Derrick Henry, Miles Sanders, Isiah Pacheco
- WRs – Chris Godwin, Michael Pittman, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Curtis Samuel
- TEs – Travis Kelce, Dawson Knox
- DEF – Broncos
Week 12 Recap
If in week 12 you’re still starting a Packers WR you probably deserve to be headlining the recap. But the real story is how well my former players did for other people! Pretty much all of them scored TDs this week even Zeke who no one bothered to pick up and it was crushing to watch them lead other teams to week 13. But it’s not about me, although it really should be, it’s more about Bryan and his not really good enough to win without any faab left team of misfits who are the next players to be headed to waivers while Bryan heads to the chopping block!
TimB/TES get the $5 bonus which almost pushes them into the faab lead.
TimB/TES also won the high score last week, but I missed it, so they won $60 from that. It was reset this week and will be $20 next week since no one hit this week.
Bryan’s players for you to bid on:
- QBs – Cardinals, Vikings
- RBs – Dalvin Cook, Najee Harris, Latavus Murray
- WRs – CeeDee Lamb, Allen Lazard, Michael Pittman, Jacobi Meyers, Josh Palmer, Mike Williams
- TEs –
- DEF – Broncos
Week 11 Recap
The worst part of losing is that I can only blame myself! All I needed to do was nothing. Just start the players I had. I picked up the Dallas DEF to play the rest of the year and stupid “How you like me know” Cousins who’s been playing surprisingly well this year got into my head and made me switch my DEF not once but twice and the stupid Dallas D would have scored me THIRTY instead of -3 by sacking that fraud 7 times! The worst part of this is I’m out before Seabury and his crappy team. My bench is better than his team! Ugh. Well, enjoy the greatest week 11 collection of players this league has ever seen hit the waivers. Off with my giant, stupid head.
Gennaro gets the much needed $5 FAAB bonus.
The high score prize goes up to $70.
Tim’s players for you to bid on:
- QBs – Dolphins, Cowboys
- RBs – Saquon Barkley, Kenneth Walker 3, Antonio Gibson
- WRs – Justin Jefferson, Jaylen Waddle, Mike Evans, DeVonta Smith, Gabriel Davis, Kadarius Toney
- TEs –
- DEF – Giants
Week 10 Recap
Happy Birthday to Tony! Not really, since he and Herbie had a pretty bad week, with little Coopie Kupp only getting them 1.4 while AJ Brown was no help with his 1.2 effort. This might have been the biggest losing gap on the year and it could have gone a different direction had they tweaked their starting lineup just a bit, like maybe having Christian Kirk in there. Also didn’t help that Herbie was more interested in outbidding me every week for Idols they didn’t need and players they didn’t start instead of trying to conserve his faab which they could have used to help their team. So it’s time for Herbie and Tony and they’re Chester Cooperpot to lose their heads!
Gennaro wins the $5 FAAB bonus this week.
No new high score so that prize goes to $60.
Tony and Herbie’s players for you to bid on:
- QBs – Bucs, Ravens
- RBs – Travis Etienne, David Montgomery, Chase Edmonds, Antonio Gibson
- WRs – Cooper Kupp, AJ Brown, Allen Lazard, Christian Kirk
- TEs – Dallas Goedert
- DEF – Giants
Week 9 Recap
You have to hate the Drake. At least Grant should, after Tom and Tim B got 23.9 pts from him and another 17 from the Ravens D to blow past Grant. His six players in single digits will not get it done at this point, and if Darnell Mooney is your second highest scorer, well then we must be off with your head! So goodbye and good riddance to Grant and his injury plagued Chase ‘n Bateman team name!
Bryan gets the much needed $5 faab bonus.
No high score hit so that prize goes up to $50.
Grant’s players for you to bid on:
- QBs – Cardinals
- RBs – Leonard Fournette, Caleb Huntley, Deon Jackson, Jonathan Taylor
- WRs – Mike Evans, Darnell Mooney, CeeDee Lamb, George Pickins
- TEs – Mark Andrews, Isaiah Likely
- DEF – Dolphins
Week 8 Recap
They were one more Golden Idol away from surviving another week, but without one they are our highest bust-out score so far which means things are starting to get competitive in this thing. Five people past them on Monday night and they lost by less than a point! Had Metcalf been a little more healthy, or had Mark Andrew caught one more pass, or had they realized that Najee Harris is just not going to be a savior, maybe they’d have survived. But alas, we must bid adieu to Jamie and Mike and send them to the chopping block…
Gennaro gets the $5 faab for surviving by less than a point.
No high score hit so that goes $40.
Jamie and Mike’s players for you to bid on:
- QBs – Eagles
- RBs – Michael Carter, Najee Harris, Darrell Henderson, Khalil Herbert
- WRs – Brandon Aiyuk, Courtland Sutton, DK Metcalf, Michael Thomas
- TEs – Mark Andrews
- DEF – Cowboys
Week 7 Recap
Pretty high score to have to go out with, but of course it was a Cowboy who was to blame. And probably expecting someone on Denver to have a good game wasn’t the best idea. But the main reason Kyle is the next to go to the chopping block is because The Golden Idol came into play and saved Jamie and Mike’s butts this week! That also means the Golden Idol is no more. 212 bucks spent to survive week 7 but they’re still alive and Kyle is out so I’m guessing they think it’s worth it. Paul’s Idol was needed (although he could have made some roster moves to help him but this also saved him roster money) and Herbie and Tony’s Idol probably was wasted since they would have picked up a Def that would have saved them. Anyway, I’m getting off topic and the topic is goodbye, Kyle! And welcome back once again to the waiver wire Saquon Barkley!
No high score this week so that prize goes to $30.
Grant survives and gets the $5 faab bonus.
Kyle’s players for you to bid on:
- QBs – Dolphins
- RBs – Saquon Barkley, Derrick Henry, James Connor, JK Dobbins
- WRs – Michael Gallup, Jakobi Myers, Courtland Sutton, Robert Woods, Drake London
- TEs – Taysom Hill
- DEF – Packers
Week 6 Recap
Tyler Higbee, aka the 56 faab dollar man, did not come through when he was most needed, nor did Tevin Coleman or Devin Duvernay, nor did Tom Brady really, or Drake London, or David Montgomery, or Tyler Boyd. At least the Eagles scored in double digits. But what this means is Tyler and his team of Tylers will be the next to be chopped and most likely the next to be hitting the first available tee time.
No high score winner so that pool goes to $20.
Kyle (will win) won the $5 faab bonus.
Mike C.’s player for you to bid on:
- QBs – Bucs
- RBs – Tevin Coleman, David Montgomery, Josh Jacobs, Jonathon Taylor
- WRs – Tyler Boyd, Devin Duvernay, Drake London, DeAndre Hopkins, Josh Reynolds
- TEs – Tyler Higbee
- DEF – Eagles
Week 5 Recap
He gave it a good shot. Was it his best shot? Debatable. He did have 224 FAAB left and a few holes in the lineup that could have been filled. Maybe a few more Idol wins? Who knows where best to lay blame, but thankfully no one blames the rule that made him pick his team from scraps. No one blames that at all. So we must say goodbye to Danny Fybel and his Scrappy Team of misfit TE’s. So, who wants a TE?
Paul hit the high score and pockets a cool ten dollar bill.
Hamm get the all important $5 FAAB bonus for being the second crappiest team this week.
Mike C.’s player for you to bid on:
- QBs – Dolphins, 49ers QBs
- RBs – Travis Etienne, Jamaal Williams, Cam Akers, Isiah Pacheco
- WRs – Josh Palmer
- TEs – Tyler Conklin, Zack Ertz, Pat Freiemuth, David Nook
- DEF – Chargers
Week 4 Recap
His team had a slight weakness and that weakness was every player besides Lamar. And when Lamar underscored this week it sealed Mike C. fate so he and his Sauron’s Sports Section team are the next unfortunate victims of the chopping block. There will be a flood of WRs on waivers thanks to Mike. Oh, and that’s 289 faab dollars now out of play…
Mike C.’s player for you to bid on:
- QBs –Ravens QB
- RBs – Travis Etienne, Kareem Hunt, Boston Scott, D’Andre Swift
- WRs – AJ Brown, Julio Jones, Christian Kirk, Isaiah McKenzie, DJ Chark, Greg Dortch
- TEs – None
- DEF – Chiefs
Bryan and Paul share the $5 FAAB bonus this week.
Tyler hit the high score this week so he wins $30 thanks to Higbee.
Week 3 Recap
He went home with all his FAAB. Good news for us! And outside of Saquon his whole team just kind of sucked this week, especially his “Defense” which is why we must say goodbye and good riddance to Jack Thomas, our next victim of the guillotine!
Jack’s players for you to bid on:
- QBs – Dolphins and Jaguars QBs
- RBs – Saigon Barkley, Darrell Henderson, Rashaad Penny, Mark Ingram, Zamir White
- WRs – Davante Adams, Brandin Cooks, Darnell Mooney
- TEs – Darren Waller
- DEF – Chargers
ROB wins the $5 bonus. Btw, if you play an Idol you can not win the 5 faab bonus.
No high score hit this week so that grows to $30.
Week 2 Recap
After just a mere two weeks, both teams who had the first pick in both guillotines are out! In this one we lose last year’s former Champions. The championship hangover is real. Repeating is hard. Losing is a learning lesson. The lesson being don’t have two Tylers on your team. Or maybe don’t start anyone from Denver’s anemic offense. Or one thing we can agree on, NEVER SIT your J-E-T-S players! That team is for real and everyone knows it. Anyway, for the first time in two years we must bid farewell to Andrew and Justin who are the next victims of the guillotine.
Andrew and Justin’s players for you to bid on:
- QBs – Cardinals QBs
- RBs – Leonard Fournette, Rhamondre Stevenson, Cam Akers, Alvin Kamara
- WRs – Tyler Boyd, Allen Lazard, Corey Davis, Robert Woods
- TEs – Tyler Higbee, Albert Okwuegbunam
- DEF – Browns
GRANT wins the $5 bonus. Btw, if you play an Idol you can not win the 5 faab bonus.
No high score hit this week so that grows to $20.
Week 1 Recap
The Dallas Cowboys are cursed. That’s why Jon is out. And that’s why I’m out of the other Guillotine after I choose the Cowboys with the FIRST pick! The reason Jon and I are both out is mostly because Jon convinced that was the best team to take. So thanks, buddy!
Jon’s Players for you to bid on:
- QBs – Cowboys QBs, Bears QB
- RBs – AJ Dillon, Christian McCaffrey, Rhamondre Stevenson, Rex Burkhead, JD McKissic, Jamaal Williams
- WRs – DJ Moore, Mike Williams
- TEs – George Kittle
- DEF – Colts
- Andrew/Justin – Team Kyler Murray
- Gennaro – Team Justin Herbert
- Mike C. – Team Lamar Jackson
- Tony/Herbie – Team Aaron Rodgers
- Hamm – Team Joe Burrow
- TallJon – Team Dak Prescott
- Tyler – Team Tom Brady
- Bryan – Team Trey Lance
- Paul – Team Josh Allen
- Kyle – Team Matt Stafford
- Tim – Team Russell Wilson
- Jason – Team Patrick Mahomes
- Jack – Team Tua Tagovailoa
- Jamie/Mike – Team Jalen Hurts
- TES/TimB (plus 10 FAAB) – Team Derek Carr
- Grant (Plus 20 FAAB) – Team Kirk Cousins
- Rob (Plus 30 FAAB) – Team Mac Jones
18. Then Fbyel drafts from what’s left.
Season 3 Week 16 Recap
Ekeler – Covid.
Kelce – Covid.
Tyreek – Dud.
Kittle – Dud.
Patterson – Letdown.
Zeke – Benched.
And then there was Kamara. He needed a measly 10 pts from the superstar in a game where due to Covid they had to start their 3rd string QB. With not many other offensive weapons this sure seemed like a setup for a monster game for Kamara since he was really their only offensive option. But Ian Book would have other plans, so here we are, saying goodbye to former runner-up, now 3rd place finisher, Jon Schroeder who is the next, and second to last person to get chopped!
Jon’s former players for you to bid on (WED. 10pm Pacific):
- QBs – Cardinals QB
- RBs – Alvin Kamara, Cordarrelle Patterson, Austin Ekeler, Ezekiel Elliot
- WRs – Tyreek Hill, Justin Jefferson, Samuel Deebo
- TE – George Kittle, Rob Gronkowsi, Travis Kelce
- DEF – Buccaneers
Week 15 Recap
“The journey must be taken in individual moments. Enjoy the ride for the ride.” – William Shatner
Well, I hope you enjoyed the ride, cause your journey is OVER! This was not a good week for Kirk Cousins to throw for under 100 yards total, and only 47 to Jefferson. Nor for the Packers Defense to throw up a stinker. Or for Mixon and Kamara to total less than a hundred combined yards. Or for CeeDee Lamb and Diggs to put up average games with TDs included. At least you can’t blame Jonathan Taylor! Or Covid. It was just a mediocre week when the world demanded excellence. We’ve all been there. Well, not Jon, Andrew/Justin or Fybel, who are the final three. But for Mr. Rudd, it is time to say goodbye to your Sounds and Smells, because you are now the sexiest man no longer alive in this pool!
Paul’s former players for you to bid on (WED. 10pm Pacific):
- QBs – Chargers QB, Packers QB
- RBs – Alvin Kamara, Joe Mixon, Jonathon Taylor, James Conner
- WRs – Stefon Diggs, Justin Jefferson, CeeDee Lamb, Mike Evans, Terry McLaurin
- TE –
- DEF – Packers
This chart does not yet reflect the $5 faab winner for this week. If Fybel holds on to 3rd place, he’ll be in the FAAB lead and have his pick of the litter. If not, Andrew and Justin will double their FAAB.
Week 14 Recap
Was this team maybe carried by Jonathan Taylor???? He takes his bye and you know what, the rest of this team just wasn’t that good for having only five teams left. Not much more to say. No one was horrible, maybe the Panthers D vs ATL, but no one had a monster game (without JT in the lineup) and with five left you need at least one or two monster performances. So we will say goodbye to Season 1 Champ Rob Menz and his FAAB RAAB All Stars! who are next up for the chopping block!
Rob’s former players for you to bid on (WED. 10pm Pacific):
- QBs – Cardinals QB
- RBs – CEH, Josh Jacobs, Javonte Williams, Dontrell Hilliard, Elijah Mitchell, Jonathon Taylor
- WRs – Brandon Aiyuk, Stefon Diggs, DJ Moore
- TE –
- DEF – Panthers, Dolphins
Paul won the 2nd to last $5 Fab Bonus this week. By a tiny amount.
Week 13 Recap
“Arrogance and ignorance go hand in hand.”
– Metallica.
Tim’s former players for you to bid on (WED. 10pm Pacific):
- QBs – Cowboys QB
- RBs – Joe Mixon, Miles Sanders, Nick Chubb, Saquon Barkley
- WRs – Keenan Allen, Ja’Marr Chase, Chris Godwin, Coradelle Patterson, DeAndre Hopkins
- TE –
- DEF – Eagles, Broncos
Jon won the 2nd to last $5 Fab Bonus this week.
Week 12 Recap
It should have been me. I forgot to switch in Houston DEF which I picked up for this week. They would have given me another 11 pts and made me very safe. That was 100% Yoko Ono’s fault. Then Chubb had his worst week yet and I needed pretty much all the minutes of the Browns game for Chubb to get the measley five points I needed. It also should have been Fybel. Kupp was getting shut out of most of the first half, and Mike had a lot of players left. But then Kupp came alive and move Fybel into a safe spot. It should not have been Mike. He somehow managed to pick up all the great RBs left, including McCaffrey who was now healthy. He had a stud QB, some stud WRs, a Defense going against the Giants, and still a lot of FAAB left over. But this game is cruel, and one by one his players got hurt. Almost all of them it seemed. And right when everyone else in danger needed them to get hurt. So here we are in week 12, saying goodbye to Mike Cioffa of Gender Reveal Fire fame, who now must say hello to his new friend, the chopping block.
Mike’s former players for you to bid on (WED. 10pm Pacific):
- QBs – Bills QB
- RBs – Dalvin Cook, Christian McCaffrey, D’Andre Swift, David Montgomery
- WRs – Mike Evans, Deebo Samuel, Mike Williams, AJ Brown, DeAndre Hopkins, Hunter Renfrow
- TE –
- DEF – Eagles
Tim C. will get the 2nd to last $5 Fab Bonus this week. And he needed it.
Week 11 Recap
Half of this team mocked me for spending the rest of my FAAB on Chris Godwin. Who had a nice little game tonight. Actually I didn’t even need his points to advance. Instead, I gave him the night off to rest up. Meanwhile this team spent SEVENTEEN DOLLARS on Darrell Henderson who was on a bye this week. And even worse, they tempted fate and not only won Saquon Barkley, but started him. Both of those players of course were also on last week’s chopped team. History is definitely repeating itself in this league. Were there also many rumors of infighting between these two owners. Possibly. Were there disagreements about who to pick up and who to start pretty much every week? Very possibly. Is there any surprise they found a way to go out with a pretty incredible roster of players. No there is not. Not with that front office. Also, the rumor mill is saying this first year Hamm-temporary-replacement team might not even be returning next year due to a “lack of celebrity” between the two of them. So here we are, saying goodbye, possibly forever, to Herbie Gelman and Tony Gama-Lobo, who will be chopped, sadly just after they Cleared Covid Protocol.
Tony and Herbie’s former players for you to bid on (WED. 10pm Pacific):
- QBs – Chiefs QB, Eagles QB
- RBs – Darrell Henderson, Saquon Barkley, Josh Jacobs, Christian McCaffrey, Elijah Mitchell
- WRs – Davante Adams, CeeDee Lamb, Mike Williams
- TE – Mark Andrews
- DEF – Broncos
Mike C. will get the 2nd to last $5 Fab Bonus this week.
Week 10 Recap
Not having a quality backup for Kyler? The Saquon Curse? The Curse of having the most FAAB? Gibson on the bench? Too much love for the promise of Alexander Mattison? Antonio Brown sucking up a bench spot for too may weeks? Returning champions Pride? Greed? Vanity? Wrath? Lust? Envy? Shatner? So many places we can place blame but I’d suggest they take a long look inside to find the answer to this week’s horrid score. As they say, From Wentz they came, From Wentz they shall return. Let us all take a moment of silence as we chop Mike Pizzimenti and Jamie Agin.
Mike and Jamie’s’ former players for you to bid on (WED. 10pm Pacific):
- QBs – Cardinals QB
- RBs – Darrell Henderson, Aaron Jones, Saquon Barkley, Antonio Gibson, Alexander Mattison
- WRs – Brandon Aiyuk, AJ Brown, Michael Pittman, Antonio Brown
- TE – Darren Waller
- DEF – Broncos
Andrew and Justin will get the 2nd to last $5 Fab Bonus this week AGAIN this week.
Week 9 Recap
Good news for me is I already have a rough draft for Andrew and Justin’s memorial. Since there’s no way Justin Fields is leading the Bears down the field for a quick TD giving the Steelers one last chance for a drive and Diontae once last chance to make one more catch. That can’t happen, right? It’s Justin Fields! Oh well, once again it’s time to close down all the factories in Allentown, because Grant is heading to the chopping block after another Monday Night Massacre and he’s taking his league leading 190 FAAB with him. Think of all the things he could have bought with that FAAB!
Grants’ former players for you to bid on (WED. 10pm Pacific):
- QBs – Chiefs QBs, Seahawks QBs
- RBs – Devontae Booker, Zeke Elliot, Damien Harris, Khalil Herbert, AJ Dillon
- WRs – Van Jefferson, Mike Williams, Chris Godwin
- TE – Dallas Goedert
- DEF – Saints
Andrew and Justin will get the 2nd to last $5 Fab Bonus this week.
Week 8 Recap
Had they survived they would have gone into week 9 with the most FAAB ($225). Had they spent a little of that FAAB on a better Defense, and possibly some better RBs, they actually might have survived. Had Justin Jefferson not had his worst game of the season (which is exactly what I wished for last night thanks God for caring about me more than Tim/TES) maybe they survive. But looking over their roster it’s kind of a wonder they survived this long! Seriously, what up with that RB core? Cooper Kupp can not do it alone every week.
Speaking of Cooper he will now be the hot add of the week, if not the year, and we have at least four or five teams that can afford him including former basement dweller now FAAB leader and last actor standing, Paul. But Tim Brady’s and Tom E. Scott’s team will not be one of them because this week we have to Bring the Head of Alfredo Garcia to the chopping block!
Tim/TES’ former players for you to bid on (WED. 10pm Pacific):
- QBs – Dolphins, Seahawks
- RBs – Devontae Booker, David Johnson, Zack Moss
- WRs – Tee Higgins, DeAndre Hopkins, Justin Jefferson, Jerry Jeudy, Cooper Kupp
- TE – Mike Gesicki
- DEF – Bears (-6)
Grant will get the 2nd to last $5 Fab Bonus this week.
Week 7 Recap
The King of Waivers is Dead!
A little recap to see how we got here:
Thurs. Oct 7th – Chris Carson – $63 – Injured at the time, dropped soon after.
Thurs. Oct 14th – Clyde Edwards-Helaire – $34 – Injured at the time. Never scored a pt.
Thurs. Oct 21st – Austin Ekeler – $88 – On a bye. During the Byepacolypse. When he really needed players to start.
Thurs. Oct 21st – Bears QB – $1 – Okay, that’s at least a good price. But it’s a QB for a team that hadn’t yet thrown for over 200 yards in a week he needed big numbers. Other real QBs were out there. Bears QB ended with 6.66 pts, which proves Trump really won the election.
So to recap, $185 on RBs and ZERO points earned. And it’s a shame since the rest of his team is really good. At least they will be on other teams. So get ready to enjoy some top shelf waiver options while we say goodbye to Bryan Seabury, our next victim of the chopping block!
Bryan’s former players for you to bid on (WED. 10pm Pacific):
- QBs – Bears
- RBs – Mike Davis, Austin Ekeler, AJ Dillon, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Devonta Freeman
- WRs – Keenan Allen, Marquise Brown, Tyreek Hill, Adam Thielen
- TE – Dallas Goedert
- DEF – Cardinals
Rob will get the 2nd to last $5 Fab Bonus this week.
Week 6 Recap
This one comes down to a simple math equation:
Joe Mixon > Jakobi Myers
What an end though. Jack is down by less than two. The Bills throw a late TD to their OTHER TE, his first ever. Then they go for two and Dawson Knox actually throws the 2 pt conversion! Jack is ahead by less than a point. Then the Bills Defense continued their collapse while Dawson HardKnox sits (did he hurt himself on that throw?). Then a Bills kick return is called back on a penalty. Then the Bills miss the 4th and goal instead of kicking it for overtime. So once again, Rudd collects $5 for almost being out and instead, we send Jack Thomas to the Guillotine. It’s already seems like his Bishop Sycamore team didn’t really exist!
Jack’s former players for you to bid on (WED. 10pm Pacific):
- QBs – Packers, Dolphins
- RBs – Austin Ekeler, Kareem Hunt, Joe Mixon, Tony Pollard
- WRs – Jakobi Myers, Sterling Shepard, Courtland Sutton, Sammy Watkins
- TE – Dawson Knox
- DEF – Bills
Rudd gets the 2nd to last $5 Fab Bonus this week.
Week 5 Recap
He had the first pick in the draft. He was spending his FAAB. He had a solid bench. Everything was looking up. But then week 5 happened. Was is CEH getting hurt? Was is Cards QB under performing? Was it his game saver Giants WR that he benched? Possibly. Was it the overtime coin flip last night? Also possibly. But the real reason he’s out is he tempted fate and picked up Saquon. The Saquon curse is real, people. He’s been on three teams so far and all three teams are gone! Which means this week we must kill Kyle and say hello to a good week of waivers…
Kyle’s former players for you to bid on (WED. 10pm Pacific):
- QBs – Cards
- RBs – Saquon Barkley, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Jonathon Taylor
- WRs – OBJ, AJ Brown, Laviska Shenault, Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs, Kadarius Toney
- TE – Gronk
- DEF – Bucs
Rob gets the 2nd to last $5 Fab Bonus this week.
Herbie and Tony set a new high score so that pot goes back to $10
Week 4 Recap
Last year’s should have been winner had he done more than the minimum in the final few weeks is the next to join the chopping block. He can thank Tommy B. and his 11.06 pts in his big return to Foxboro for his early exit from the pool. Or he can pretty much blame anyone else on his team outside of a Dolphin TE since they all crapped the bed this week. Or he can just blame himself for going home with 300 FAAB in his pocket. Either way, we all can now say goodbye to Tyler Kroos!
Tyler’s former players for you to bid on (WED. 10pm Pacific):
- QBs – Bucs, Saints
- RBs – Chris Carson, Alexander Mattison, Miles Sanders, Joshua Kelley, Raheem Mostert
- WRs – Davante Adams, Mecole Hardman, Michael Thomas
- TE – Mike Gesicki
- DEF – Broncos
Jon S. gets the 2nd to last $5 Fab Bonus this week.
No new high score so that pot goes to $20.
Week 3 Recap
Joe didn’t even get a chance to test out his new QB toy Dak Prescott. Sad week for him. Fournette was a bust, Jonnu was a bust, the Wash DEF was a huge bust, and the Lockett injury sealed the deal. Higbee came through for him as did Mahomes I guess, but you do expect a little more from the KC QBs. So without out further ado, let’s say goodbye to Joe Lo Truglio on The Last Day of his guillotine season. And let’s all say hello to some tasty new tidbits on the waiver wire this week!
Joe’s former players for you to bid on (WED. 10pm Pacific):
- QBs – Chiefs, Cowboys
- RBs – Fournette, Sony Michel, DeeJay Dallas, Carlos Hyde
- WRs – Tyler Lockett, Calvin Ridley, Brandon Aiyuk
- TE – Tyler Higbee, Jonnu Smith
- DEF – Washington
Paul R. gets the 2nd to last $5 Fab Bonus this week. (assumes Dallas D + Amari Cooper score more than 1 pt Monday night so subject to change)
Tyler set a new high score with 167.78 pts so he won $20! The pot will reset to $10.
Week 2 Recap
The best part of Jason going out so early is not that he just spent so much on Saquon Barkley and Courtland Sutton and now they’re already back on the block, it’s that he looks forward to this pool all year long and it’s already over for him. So let’s all take a moment to appreciate how annoyed he is right now.
And a brief tidbit I forgot to mention about Gennaro last week. Not only was he out 1st this year he was also out 1st last year. With the complete randomness of draft order, teams available to pick, lack of waivers and then the actual unpredictability of player performance this is some incredibly bad luck. But then again, I’ve played in a fantasy league with him for 23 years and he never even sniffed a title so maybe it’s just him.
Jason’s former players for you to bid on (WED. 10pm Pacific):

Week 1 Recap
Fybel needed just a little help from “Anyone–Ty’Son, Jordan, Jackson” and he got it thanks to a nice TD run in the first half by Ty’Son Williams. Which left it as a battle between Jack and Gennaro. That battle went back and forth just like the Raiders/Ravens insane game but in the end the Ravens choked worse than Mark Davis’ barber which means the first one to get chopped, and he’s probably a little relieved, is Tony Gennaro. Off with your head!
Gennaro’s former players for you to bid on (WED. 10pm Pacific):
- QBs – Chargers QBs, Wash QBs
- RBs – Saquan, D’Andre Swift, Le’Veon Bell, Javian Hawkins, Xavier Jones
- WRs – Julio Jones, Michael Pittman, Courtland Sutton
- TE – Dallas Goedert
- DEF – Ravens

Draft Results
Draft Day
August 30th. The day after the final preseason games. The email draft chain will begin. I will run a mock draft on fantasypros.com and we will pick teams from that auto draft. You will announce your team by saying who the QB is on that team. And as a reminder, we’ll be using Team QBs during the season so if you pick Tua you will be drafting all the Dolphins QBs. And you will probably lose early.
The first pick in the draft can take any of the 18 teams. We’ll then go down the list and everyone will pick a team except for the last team (Andrew) which will have to take what’s left.
Here’s the draft order:
